These are the artworks which I created for my t-shirts.
I had some fun time while doing these veggies. When I listened to Sepultura’s Bloody Roots I figured that I should create some root veggies without and with a cover of blood, as the lyrics goes like “Roots, bloody roots”
Some acrylics I did. I need some practice with this medium, because my technique is far from perfect. I started practicing from the end of 2017 by myself but after some weeks I found some awesome videos by one of my favorite artists Jeff Miracola and nowadays I try to improve by following his advices.
I love the way you can work with gouache. You can work with it like it was watercolor but with richer/deeper colors or you can use it with less water and this way it’s nearly like acrylic.
This was the first time I ever took part in any kind of an art challenge, and it was the very first time I used real black Indian ink for doing my art. At the beginning I created these pieces with ink + nibs, and I often found it pretty hard to work with this technique so around the half of the challenge I ordered some Sakura Microns to make it easier. Even with these ink pens the whole challenge was pretty hard to finish because I wanted to finish without “cheating” so I always did my stuff day by day, and I can tell you that it’s a really exhausting experience but it was my best October. I improved a lot during this period, and I realized that drawing every single day is something I don’t want to give up after the challenge because that’s the only way to get better in my art in a fast way.
Working with watercolor paint is like going back to elementary school. There are no rules, your line work can be jaggy the colors can smudge but in the end you will get something what can look good.
These are some of my sketches. I often do them with a ballpoint pen without any colors and if I come up with something I really like I do it digitally or I create a traditional painting of it.
